I am a retired music teacher and full time student at Duke Divinity School. The call to ordained ministry has led me to move to Durham, North Carolina and continue to follow each next step. It is my hope that you will identify with my life experiences that have shaped my spiritual journey and will experience the joy that comes from walking with God.

Heather, I was wondering If I might purchase a copy of your new book. Neither Jon or I will be able to pick it up on Thursday night due to me being out of town and Jon working. But Jon could get it from you after the 9:30 service on Sunday morning. If this is okay with you. Maybe even David could give it to Jon in their Sunday School class it the meeting you doesn’t work out. If you wouldn’t mind could you e-mail me and let me know which would be better for you. Thanks so much… Sue Sauter

Aw that’s sweet Sue. It will be available on this website on Thursday.
Thanks so much!
Heather,
Your book sounds wonderful. I am looking forward to reading it. It is so amazing how some people touch our lives even after they are gone. Staci looks like a wonderful person, so full of life and God. One of our very good friends, just lost her husband of only one year due to a fall in the kitchen. He hit his head and cracked his skull and died after surgery. We are going to the funeral tomorrow and mayber this book will help her through some of the really bad times. I hope I will be able to come to your book signing. Love, Marie Radkevich
Thanks Marie. I’m sorry about your friend. I think that the times that people leave the human world are intensely powerful times. It really is a time to rely on your faith. I hope to see you tonight!
Dear Heather, I received the book Lessons from Staci and I know I will always treasure it. I thank you so very much for autographing it; I’ve never had a book signed by its author and this means so much to me. I came across Staci’s online memorial as I was looking for the way to make memorials for some of my deceased loved ones. All of the memorials are touching of course, but there was something extra special about Staci’s story. What a beautiful young lady she was, and I’m heartbroken for her dear parents and brother. Staci, as young as she was, has taught me so much. It was she who brought me back to Christianity; my faith had been wavering until I read her testimony. I could almost feel the strong love she has for Our Lord. She has affected me in such a positive way and has made a wonderful change in my life. I know God is using her as His instrument, and there’s not much better than that! I owe her so much. She and her loved ones are in my prayers every night. I haven’t started the book yet, but as I glanced through it I knew it was going to be a book I will love. It was so kind of you to write about her, as I’m sure many, many other peoples’ lives will be wonderfully impacted by her experiences and faith. Staci’s mom and I have become “pen pals”; her mom does a terrific job of continuing Staci’s mission. I owe her a lot also. I’ll be recommending this book to everyone! I thank you again – actually, I can’t thank you enough for your writing. I’m grateful beyond words. God be with you, Heather – we are all part of His loving and eternal family. May He bless you and your family abundantly.
